Bonneville Salt Flats
Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats are the remnants of ancient Lake Bonneville, which once covered much of the state during the last Ice Age. The perfectly flat surface spans <hl>30,000 acres</hl> and has been the site of numerous land speed records.
